Commander Lahore Corps. He will replace Lahore Corps in Lt General Majid Ehsan, who has been transferred to Inspector General Arms.
Commander Southern Command Lt. General Waseem Ashraf has been replaced as Commander Multan Corps. He will replace Lt General Muhammad Naeem Ashraf, who will retire next month.
Commander Command and Staff College Quetta Lt. General Nadeem Ahmad Anjum has been appointed as Commander of the Corps, Karachi. He will replace Lt General Humayun Aziz, who has retired next month. Inspector General Arms Lt. General Khalid Zia will take over the new position of Corps Commander, in Bahawalpur.
Another star Lt General General Syed Muhmmad Adnan, who serves as Corps Commander Bahawalpur, has been sent as Inspector General Training and Evaluation at GHQ. He will replace Lt-Gen Sher Afgan, who is completing his term next month.
The newly promoted Lt General Sarfraz Ali has been appointed Commander Southern Command in place of Lt General Waseem Ashraf, who will now head the Multan Corps. Former DG ISPR in his promotion as Lt. General has been appointed as Inspector General Communication and Information Technology.
Three nominated military officers are under the Frontier Force Regiment, two officers from the Armed Forces and one from the Azad Kashmir Regiment. Commander-in-Chief General Qamar Javed Bawja himself is in the Baloch faction.
The promoters include the current Vice Chief of General Staff at GHQ Major General Akhtar Nawaz Satti (Frontier Force), Major General Hassan Azhar Hayat (Frontier Force), who has now been transferred to Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), General Officer Commanding 40 Infantry Division Okara Major General Asif Ghafoor (Artillery), Commandant School of Infantry and Tactics Major General Salman Fayyaz Ghani, Frontier Force), Inspector General, FC South, Balochistan, Major General Sarfraz Ali (Azad Kashmir Regiment) and Commandant Pakistan Military Academy Major General Muhammad Ali. Four promoted officials will also take on new responsibilities.
Following his promotion, Lt General Sarfraz Ali was appointed Commander of the Southern Command. Lt General Muhammad Ali has been appointed Commander of the Army Strategic Force Command (ASFC) in place of Lt General Qazi Muhammad Ikram Ahmad, who will retire next month.
Another newly promoted officer Lt General Sardar Hassan Azhar Hayat has been appointed Secretary of Defense at GHQ while former DG ISPR Lt. General Asif Ghafoor appointed as Inspector General Communication and Information Technology.
Two-star generals have been promoted before retiring from three three-star generals who will be completing their duties next month.
The three-star generals retired next month include the current 5 Commanders Corachi Karachi Lt. General Humayun Aziz (Artillery), Commander 2 Corps Multan Lt. General Muhammad Naeem Ashraf (Armored Corps), Chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Lt. General Muhammad Afzal (Corps of Engineering), Inspector General Training and Evaluation GHQ Lt. General Sher Afgan (Azad Kashmir Regiment), Commander Commander Strategic Forces Command Lt. General Qazi Muhammad Ikram Ahmad (Artillery) and Chairman of Pakistan Ordnance Factories Lt. General Bilal Akbar (Weapons).
